Who controls your data

Cornwall Made is a project by DoAnythingNow. For any question about this notice or your data, email hello@cornwallmade.uk.

What we collect

We collect what you type into one of the two forms on this site, and nothing else.

The interest form, “Tell us who you are and what interests you” (on the home page and the itinerary pages): your name, email address and, if you give it, phone number; which of a short list best describes you (for example, planning a trip, an artist or maker, or wanting to get involved); and, depending what you tick, further detail relevant to that. That further detail may include your postcode and address, the name of your gallery, business or agency and what it does, the areas you cover, where your gallery or studio is, which regions and session types interest you, when you're thinking of visiting, your craft, whether you have a studio or space where people could visit, and anything you choose to add in your own words.

The partner enquiry form, “Request a private conversation” (on the For professionals page): your name and email address; the name of your organisation and your phone number, if you give them; which of a short list best describes your business; and anything you choose to tell us about the project.

You're only asked for the details relevant to what you tick. The postcode of a property is the one thing we ask for outright, and only if you tell us you're working on a home.

We don't collect payment details. We aren't taking bookings yet; both forms are for enquiries only.

Why we collect it, and what we do with it

You've told us who you are and asked us to get in touch, whether that's about planning a Cornwall trip, featuring your work, a partnership, or getting involved with the project. We email your submission straight to the Cornwall Made team, who may reply based on what you've told us. That's the only use. Your details aren't sold, shared with third parties for marketing, or used to build a profile of you.

Who else processes it

Sending the email relies on Resend, our email delivery provider. Resend is based in the United States; their own privacy policy explains how they handle data in transit.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they look at. Each visit records the page, where you arrived from, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. It sets no third-party cookies, and the records are anonymous — they aren't tied to you, to an account, or to your IP address. Visitors are counted using a temporary identifier that is discarded after 24 hours, so we can't follow you from one day to the next. Details are in Vercel's own documentation.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry for as long as we're actively in touch about planning your visit. If you ask us to delete your details, or tell us you're no longer interested, we will.

The analytics records described above are anonymous, and are held by Vercel under their own retention terms rather than by us.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email hello@cornwallmade.uk and we'll act on it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes to this notice

We'll update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes.
